When Avery found out that Aunt Bea was coming to town she was SO excited...because Aunt Bea's tradition with the nieces is to take them to get their ears pierced.
The report was that she was very brave and did not cry. Uncle Jim had a tissue at the ready, but she did not need it. Both ears got pierced at the same time (there were 2 girls behind the counter).
She is now proudly sporting some beautiful red flower earrings, and looks SO grown up!
Ahhh...where is the time going?
